In 1916 this firm was manufacturing a Horizontal Milling Machine and a Hand Screw Machine. By the 1920's, Kent-Owens Machine Co. was building Special Machinery such as cotton pickers. They purchase the Diamond Alloy Tool Co. of St. Louis, MO in 1922, which made special alloy cutting tools. The company was sold the Ex-Cell-O Corp. and the Toledo plant was liquidated in 1971.
